GO GREEN SOLAR SCREENS

Go Green Solar Screens was a company we would classify as a self manager. They built their own website and even attempted to do some keyword optimization. Unfortunately, they were not getting the results they were hoping for, and the site lacked a professional appearance. They began looking for an alternative to traditional web development that they knew wouldn't result in the performance expectations they were seeking.

OUR GOALS

When we met Go Green Solar Screens, their sales people weren't as busy as they wanted to be and had quite a bit of time on their hands. They passed the time playing golf and waiting for their phone to ring. The goals laid out on the table were very clear. We needed to grow solar screen sales tremendously through marketing their services online.

THE PROCESS

We used our traditional process for developing a strategy and plan for Go Green. Our primary focus was on targeting buyers for solar screens, with a secondary focus on the additional products they offer (attic insulation, radiant barriers, attic ventilation, attic tents, etc).

One of the core strategies we developed for their online marketing plan was to target keyword phrases using geographical terms in conjunction with the product terms. For example, "solar screens denton." By doing this, we were able to reach potential buyers in multiple locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

We added special coupon and rebate buttons throughout the site which increased the conversion rates. We also employed a photo gallery, showing successfully completed projects to allow customers to see the quality craftsmanship Go Green delivered.

Throughout the process, we worked very hard on the content of the site. We wanted to make sure we included both informative and technical content to satisfy all types of customers. As with all of our clients, we wrote all of the content on the site to be search engine friendly. We collaborated with the home efficiency experts at Go Green to make sure the content was accurate and would encourage sales.

THE FINAL PRODUCT

The combination of an engaging site design, simple navigation, and quality content resulted in extremely high search engine rankings across both their primary and secondary product lines. Want to see the site live? Check it out here.

THE RESULTS

The Go Green website quickly escalated to the number one natural search result on Google for the desired keyword terms. We were able to dramatically increase both their exposure and sales. The online marketing has been so successful, Go Green has signed on for a second year, and we are preparing to create two new websites for an offshoot company of Go Green Solar Screens. Needless to say, the Go Green sales team has been spending much less time on the golf course and more time installing solar screens for many very happy customers.
